PostWhite out – white sandals for women

small

This season there was a white-out on the runways and now that summer has arrived this hue is good-to-go. Take a detox from clashing prints and patterns with all white sandals, backpacks kimono tops, and courts. Our Geta Block sandals feature a geisha inspired look using an ultra-lightweight cork wrapped sole – meaning they achieve that must-have chunky appearance but they’re light enough to wear on long summer days.

PostHow to wear a midi skirt

Midi-skirts

The midi skirt has been a sure fire hit this summer. Although traditionally not the easiest length to wear, once you get it right the elegant lengths are super flattering.

The midi usually falls at the mid-calf (hence the name) but some new styles have crept lower so they’re almost reaching the ankle. New York socialite Olivia Palermo was even spotted wearing her looser midi skirt up high as a bandeau dress – creating a wardrobe 2-4-1 (win!).

With real petal power, we think this midi works best with simple block heel sandals and a clean slice of white on top. As summer draws to a close teaming the midi with sandals is the perfect way to transition in style. In early August combine it with a short boxy top to break up your silhouette and then as it starts to get cooler create some casual contrast by wearing it with a cream chunky knit sweater.

PostEverybody’s wearing – LPDs

How to wear a white summer dress This summer the LPD (little pale dress) is everywhere – and with good reason.  With temperatures soaring, this versatile number can become the cornerstone of your summer wardrobe. Looking as good at work with loud heels as it does on the weekend with flat sandals, the LPD channels just the right amount of centre court couture.

From smocks with lace detail to on-trend shirt dresses and everything in between, keep it light and simple and you’ll feel as cool as you look.

PostFestival fashion: 2014

Ever since models started hanging off the arms of musicians backstage at festivals, (we’re looking at you Miss Moss) we’ve all wanted to look a little more presentable! No longer a place for your rattiest T-shirt and old walking boots, it’s now an excuse to wave goodbye to normality and hello to a generous helping of curated chaos – wardrobe and otherwise.

Festival fashion

Our edit of festival essentials: Denim shorts are a real festival staple; in the sun we’d team them with a pair of our unique PATTERNITY Desert Boots for a laidback ready-for-anything look. If it does rain, cut-offs also work with wellies and an on-trend navy parka – because you still want to look good even in the mud!

An oversized check shirt is a versatile option and looks equally effective buttoned up or open over a clashing print bandeau or vest. Complete your look with a felt fedora, shades and copious amounts of eyeliner – so you can maintain your glamour, even after a few hard nights… just don’t forget the face wipes.
