PostEverybody’s wearing – LPDs

How to wear a white summer dress This summer the LPD (little pale dress) is everywhere – and with good reason.  With temperatures soaring, this versatile number can become the cornerstone of your summer wardrobe. Looking as good at work with loud heels as it does on the weekend with flat sandals, the LPD channels just the right amount of centre court couture.

From smocks with lace detail to on-trend shirt dresses and everything in between, keep it light and simple and you’ll feel as cool as you look.

We invite one of our favourite fashion bloggers, Charlotte Lewis to take us through a key summer style…

Wearing white denim

This summer, white is everywhere. Featured heavily on the catwalks it’s now ruling the high street and I can’t get enough of it! If you’re brave enough you can go for an all-white ensemble, but as you can see I like to break it up a little. I’ve teamed my black Turin Dreaming sandal boots with a premium black leather cross-body bag, to create a little monochrome and a blue pinstripe (Alexander Wang style) shirt left open to complete the look.

However you do it – get some white into your wardrobe this summer.

PostLondon collections: Men

LC:M is the menswear equivalent to London Fashion Week. For emerging designers to global British brands, it kick-starts the calendar showcasing British fashion’s key collections, and SS15 was as eclectic as ever.

London collections men’s This year’s event featured Clarks as part of acclaimed designer and tailor Richard James’ show. Inspired by the cultural collision of the British soldier with the Sahara during the late 1930s, his Desert Rats show was a huge success. Featuring the four-pocket safari jacket, neat tailoring, plenty of khaki and olive linen and Desert Rat motifs, the show was made complete by the presence of our very own Clarks Desert Boots.
Richard told us “When I knew we needed classic desert boots, it had to be Clarks.” – We couldn’t agree more.

We invite one of our favourite fashion bloggers, Lindsey Holland to take us through how she wears her Fenners Fun brogues through the week.

Metallic brogues

Embracing key trends for the season including monochrome, prints and pastels – the brogues add some metallic when teamed with my culottes and boxy blazer. I’d throw this on and head out to dinner with the girls.

A slouchy daytime look for shopping is always a must-have. Team the brogues with wide-leg satin trousers and an oversized t-shirt to achieve this look.

You really can throw these metallic brogues on with anything. Teamed with my blue and white tunic style dress and on-trend leather backpack they help me create a sports-luxe look with real contrast.
