PostMen’s festival fashion 2014

Whether you’re soaking up the summer at Secret Garden Party or partying hard at T in the Park – festival season is upon us. With tents, beer and folding chairs already balanced precariously on your back, you’ll want to pack light, so we’ve devised an all-weather ensemble to ensure you’re festival ready.

Statement colour chinos will help you look the part; and can be cuffed and rolled when the sun comes out.  A short sleeve floral print shirt will work from day to night – and means you’ll be visible in a crowd. A pair of our Vulco Arrow Originals will help you look cool when you’re on your feet all day and our retro mini backpack is perfect for stashing a lightweight mac, festival guide and a cheeky hip flask.

Retro shades and a straw fedora will not only protect you from the rays but also complement that glitter moustache or dash of neon face paint you’ll no doubt acquire along the way. Finally you’ll have to pack your wellies, but hopefully they can remain in the tent…

PostFestival fashion: 2014

Ever since models started hanging off the arms of musicians backstage at festivals, (we’re looking at you Miss Moss) we’ve all wanted to look a little more presentable! No longer a place for your rattiest T-shirt and old walking boots, it’s now an excuse to wave goodbye to normality and hello to a generous helping of curated chaos – wardrobe and otherwise.

Our edit of festival essentials: Denim shorts are a real festival staple; in the sun we’d team them with a pair of our unique PATTERNITY Desert Boots for a laidback ready-for-anything look. If it does rain, cut-offs also work with wellies and an on-trend navy parka – because you still want to look good even in the mud!

An oversized check shirt is a versatile option and looks equally effective buttoned up or open over a clashing print bandeau or vest. Complete your look with a felt fedora, shades and copious amounts of eyeliner – so you can maintain your glamour, even after a few hard nights… just don’t forget the face wipes.

PostMen’s occasion wear

Summer’s here and that means it’s time to suit up. The number one summer suit destination is of course the friend’s wedding – traditionally a sea of light charcoals and baby blues. But whether it’s a day out at the races or the office summer ball, there are more reasons than ever to dress formal this season.

What to wear to a wedding

Achieve our occasion wear look

Wear Clarks Chart Lift loafers in wolf leather barefoot with skinny fit ankle grazer trousers and a plaited belt. Take the formal look off duty with a bright geek-chic bowtie and add some effortless cool with a simple pair of all black wayfarer glasses. To complete the summer look go for a lightweight jacket or mix it up with an on-trend double breasted waistcoat and crisp short sleeve shirt.
